St Wolfgang is great for families, people who are not regular skiers or for mixed groups of skiers and non-skiers. Skiing is all around and the nearest local slopes are those of the Postalm. They slopes are perfect for beginners an intermediary level skiers. If you are not a regular skier it is a great place to refresh your skills before tackling more challenging slopes of the Katrinalm, Gosau and the Zvolferhorn.

The video below gives you a little flavour of what the Postalm has to offer, great, fun skiing and un-crowded safe slopes, not to mention the cross country skiing, snow shoeing, tubing and sledging.

If the lake freezes over you can enjoy ice skating and curling on the frozen lake or why not take a ride on a horse drawn sleigh.
